ISABELA BAMBANTI FESTIVAL

The province’s week-long Bambanti Festival this year has formally opened Tuesday starting with a thanksgiving mass held at the St. Michael Cathedral in Gamu town.
The mass is attended by local officials and employees of Isabela led by Governor Faustino G. Dy III together with local chief executives and legislators from LGUs.
This year’s Bambanti Festival theme is “Isabela para sa Daigdig”.
After the provincial govermment of Isabela’s sponsored thanksgiving mass, the formal opening of the Bambanti Village was done in front of the capitol, signalling that all the agri-eco-tourism booths are ready to showcase the local products and tourist spots from the localities.
Governor Dy led the ribbon cutting ceremony and visited the booth of every LGU situated at the capitol compound.
The agri-eco tourism booths displayed the local products. Giant scarecrows were built near the booths depicting each LGU’s pride.
Meanwhile, a free medical and dental mission also started at the Faustino N. Dy Dr. Memorial Hospital servicing the sick Isabelinos.
The medical and dental mission will continue during the week-long Bambanti Festival celebration.
